Month: April 2012

Glad one of us works to pay the bills.

This is what happened last night…

Glad one of us works hard for the $$$ to support our expensive lifestyle. Just sayin’…

It’s so hot today. I managed to do a 3 mi run outside, and after that I could do no more.

A smoothie and greek yogurt + GoLean Crunch cereal was quickly eaten, afterwards.

I made the smoothie with chocolate whey protein powder and some Justin’s Classic Almond Butter Butter that I got for $4.99…nowadays that’s practically free. This stuff is the jam.

Have some work stuff to organize for this week aka figuring out the logistics of my 16-stop marketing audits. It’s fun, be jealous.

Austria pt 3

One morning we caught the 7:45a train to Hallstatt, Austria, and spent the day there walking around. It’s south, past Gmunden and Bad Ishel. One of the.most. beautiful places, and I’m so glad I got to visit this tiny village of 900 people on the Hallstätter Sea.

Hallstatt from the train.

Taking the 2 minute ship ride to Hallstatt

Water fall from the main road

Look how small this private house is…geeesshh. Some meat factory man owns it.

When we arrived we drank some coffee, walked around a bit and then I enjoyed an Aperol spritzer and mango puree with prosecco for dad.

We had lunch at the Gruner Baum (Green Tree) Hotel. Lasagna for dad and Rostbraten (steak with onion) with potato for me 😉

That guy’s small house again.

Houses seem like they are built right on top of each other.

My new friend. Most of the outside restaurants restaurants have cats to keep other animals and mice away. Don’t worry, they’re not dirty, outside cats.

Enjoying a beverage on the lake

On 18 June 2011, it was reported that a Chinese real-estate firm intend to build a replica of the entire town in Huizhou,Guangdong province. Copy cats!

Next time, I need to bring a special someone to share it with. Dad’s cool and all, but people think we’re married and I’m a trophy wife. Go here and here if you want more info on Hallstatt, Austria.

Reheated some leftover wings from BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings). 3 Garlic Parmesan and 3 Thai Curry, add some pickles…picture of health. Reheated at 400* for 8-mins, perfecto.

Thought I’d keep ya in the loop, ;). Now, I’m gonna go back to being lazy and watching shows. MIght need some chocolate or wine tho…

Hot run, smoothie, redecorate. Done.

Herrrooooo! This morning I managed to bust out my usual 3mi loop

and 20 mins of yoga. Yea, fun times in 77* weather and 66% humidity. I don’t know why I do it…

Immediately made a smoothie with 0% Plain Greek Yogurt and chocolate whey protein. “nomnomnom”

I have a day off after many looonnng 10+ hour days working for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series aka The Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. My client was Marathon Bars, one of the sponsors for the race. Let’s just say my house will be stocked for months with the bars.

Redecorated the dinner table…productive. I’m chillin’ like a villan the rest of the day.

(candles, water carafe (from Austria), table cover (from Austria))

Slowly redecorating and rearranging the place…long process but I want a comfy, modern home. Be back soon!
