Cardio Blast

This morning started out with a 3mi run and a cardio blast circuit that I love. I got the cardio circuit via Julie’s blog, which she got via Jessica’s blog(source)

I only had time for one round before I had to be on a conference call, but this circuit is killer and can kick some serious booty for 2 or 3 rounds. One round usually takes 10-12 minutes.

Moving on, I chomped on some breakfast during my work conference call, which is such a fun way to spend an hour 😉

I had 0% greek yogurt with some fresh strawberries. I REALLY miss summer berries, they’re so much more fresh. Who’s with me?

Lunch was Pacific Natural Foods Roasted Red Pepper soup, garnished with sour cream and fresh basil.

I’ve had fresh basil for 3 days in a row, so I decided to see what health benefits basil offers. Check out some nifty info at WHFoods.org. Not too shabby.

I proceeded to eat some pita chips with hummus after I ate my soup.

Do you guys like fresh herbs?

I’m such a huge fan of fresh herbs and with I could have an herb garden. My dad has one and it is usually OVERFLOWING with basil, thyme, oregano, parsley and sage. Good thing he let’s me use all that I want 😉
